Handmade Love

The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.
- Quote from Moulin Rouge -

We are not into the whole commercial side of celebrations days, however, I did put a lunchbox love note into my three boys containers this morning.  It's not too mushy, they won't be too embarrassed by it, much.  It's just to let them know that I love them.

Lunchbox love notes are ok aren't they?
If someone was making my lunch, I would love a little lunchbox love note now and then.

My notes are usually "eat your apple!" No.3 always forgets the apple in the bottom of her bag. Its won't fit in the tupperware lunchbox, stupid thing. Not very special or loving is it? I am thinking about making them heart shaped pikelets for after school so it's not all bad. Hope you are having a LOVEly day today Joyce.

oh thank you for your lovely comments. My boys loved their lunchbox love notes, although a little embarrassed they secretly did love them. Love pikelets will be a hit for sure. I have had that book along with a few others that I purchased back last year for the sole purpose of cardmaking, except, could not bring myself to cut into it until now. I have a great respect for books of any kind, and really felt quite wicked putting the scissors near them. I am cured now, and I know that it's going to get a second life for a while. I love working with printed paper, I love working with items that would otherwise be dumped. Prepare to see lots more when I get time.
Thanks again for popping in. Have a wonderful day. xx
