Here it is, my crochet poppy. I quite like it, despite that it didn't quite turn out how I had planned. A poppy normally has three smaller petals inside then three larger petals around the outside. I am not the best at crochet, so just fiddled around and come up with this poppy. It curves inward which is just what I wanted it to do. I am going to put a brooch backing on this. I will give it another go, using less dc in the black, this may make the red petals easier to work out.
Actually the more I look at my little poppy, the more I really do like it and am happy it. Hello my little poppy brooch, welcome to my place.
