Crochet Wrap Vest

Introducing Moss, she is going to keep me warm all day today. What a perfect day for her too, with the extra low temps.

Gotta run, will be back here later today/tonight.

Hope you find something snuggly warm to wrap yourself in today - tell me what is your favourite wrap, jumper, scarf or woolly warmth for such a wintery day?

I have purchased some wool for one of these and intend to crochet it too. Just wondering what size crochet hook did you use?? And how much yarn did it take? Cool thanks, great weather to sit inside by the fire and crochet :-)

Thanks for all your lovely comments. I have been at school this morning, and wow, so many comments. I have directed many admiring eyes to the blogs for various ways to make wrap vest. It looks like there is going to be a revolution and the hooks and needles and sewing machines are going to be coming out of the closet this winter. The admiration for Rosie's little house button were equally in awe. I have directed them all to go shopping.

MonetPaisley I used a size 4mm hook. I am going to ask Leonie if I have her permission to post my changes on here as the pattern is originally hers.

Angelina, Leonie who made the first comment above is the wonderful talent behind this wrap vest. Check her out, its awesome. As for your thrifted jumper, oh it sounds very snuggly, and what a bargain too.

I love your vest! I really have to make one too! My 2 girls want one each :) Still looking for the right yarn. I'm in Saudi Arabia, so it's not easy!

Dear Joyce,

Just spent most of the morning looking for the perfect crochet vest pattern and here it is. Please tell me where to find the actual pattern or where I can purchase the pattern. Thanks from Wisconsin Winters!
